CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

 Hello, today I am going to talk about some changes I would make to my architecture syllabus.

First of all, architecture is a career known for requiring a lot of time to perform the work and models that the different branches require, this has caused many students to be mentally overwhelmed, since they spend many days focused on making project deliveries, to the point of not eating, sleeping, or performing the basic needs that a human being needs. I remember in first year I had classes from 8:30AM to 7PM and then I had to get to study and do architectural projects, it was really exhausting (and still is). 

For these reasons and in the face of poor mental health of students I think it is necessary for the faculty to increase the number of psychologists and counselors.

About the facilities of the faculty, I think there is a lack of study and work rooms, since, generally the works are group work and for this reason the students stay to perform at the university. But more important than this is the lack of a casino in salubrious conditions that would allow us to shop within the same faculty, making use of our scholarship and thus saving us time and money.

Finally, regarding the teaching methods, at first it was difficult for me to understand that at least in architecture you learn based on mistakes, but now in the fourth year I think it is a good method to improve yourself and not compete with others. 

MY DREAM JOB

I have always thought that my dream job would be to work with animals, either in a conservation center, a safari or an animal sanctuary.

I believe that since we were children we have all liked or been interested in animals and the idea of being able to get to know them closely, learning their routines, habits, among many other things. 

On the other hand, I believe that the conservation of wildlife, both Chilean and global, is a very important issue and while we can help conserve it with multiple actions, I find it interesting and fascinating to get to know it closely. 

Another reason why I would like to work in a wildlife conservation center is because I would not see it as a job, but as a hobby and I would need a lot of training and study to learn how to deal with each animal, since they are all different and act in different ways, for example, it is not the same to take care of a bird than a lion.

Regarding the salary, I would like to earn the money that allows me to live comfortably, but prioritizing having free time to do what I like the most. 

I am currently studying architecture and I like it very much. I also found a branch of architecture which is urban planning and I am interested in it because it is more directly related to how people live in the city.

THE BEST CONCERT EVER

The best concert I have ever been to was Coldplay in 2016 at the National Stadium. 

Coldplay is a British pop rock band formed in 1996 and composed of five members: Chris, Jon, Guy and Will. 

Since 2000 Coldplay has been one of the most influential and relevant bands in the world.

The 2015 tour, which I attended, lasted more than two years and was done to promote their seventh album "A Head Full of Dreams".

During the concert, there was a very joyful atmosphere, with colorful fumes, fireworks, confetti falling from the sky and lights of a thousand colors produced by a bracelet that went to the rhythm of the music.

It is the concert I enjoyed the most because I have been a Coldplay fan since I was little, since my older brothers are, and they taught me the band and I know every one of their songs, but the song I enjoyed the most was "Yellow", because, although it is not my favorite song, it was the most emotional song in the concert and the whole Estacio Nacional turned yellow.

This year I will see them again in concert and I'm really looking forward to it :)

A Country You Would Like To Visit

 Hello everyone. 

When I had to think of a country I would like to visit, the first country that came to my mind was Norway.

The interest in that country was born because I am a person who loves nature and cold, so living among mountains in a wooden house is my dream life.

There are many things about this country that catch my attention, among them, the education system, the high quality of life, the different postcards, among others.

If one day I visit Norway, the city where I would spend more time would be Bergen, this is a city on the south coast that is surrounded by mountains and fjords. What strikes me most about Bergen is the architecture of the old pier, which consists of colorful houses that are reflected in the water of the fjord generating a beautiful postcard. 

If someday I have the opportunity to live in Norway, I would like to do it working in architecture and creating sustainable and environmentally friendly projects :)
